Information about you and your visits to our site
Goods Lost in Transit
All orders sent via Collect Plus or Parcel Force 24/48hr service are fully tracked and insured. If your order becomes lost in transit after being sent via one of these services then we will file a claim with the courier and send out a replacement as a matter of urgency.
For orders sent out using Royal Mail 1st Class these items are not tracked and we obtain a proof of postage. Normally the ‘missing’ parcel will be returned to sender (Lights 4 You) as ‘not called for’. We are unable to follow up any claims sent via Royal Mail 1st Class until a time period of 14 (working) days has passed. We would advise customers to visit their local sorting office to see if the order is being held there. If your order is urgent we can dispatch a replacement items and would ask that if the missing parcel has been delivered that you return this to us at your own cost. Customers may find delays depending on certain times of the year, when these delivery services are stretched.
When your order has been placed and Lights 4 You has received payment, you will receive a email confirming your order, this will contain the product(s) ordered and delivery service chosen.
If you are experiencing problems issuing payment then please first try to use an alternative method of payment, if you are still having problems then please contact our customer services who can assist as there may be a technical problem with our website resulting in your payment being declined.
We use Sage Pay to facilitate our payments on our website. It is designed so that if we do not receive payment for your order then your order will not be generated. Please check your email to see if you have received your email confirmation of your order, if you have received no email confirmation then your order has not been processed and no payment has been taken from your card.
We are unable to process payment over the telephone, we can except payment via BACS, however we need to have cleared funds before any orders can be dispatched.
