Changed your mind or would like to exchange your light set(s)?
We hope you are happy with your purchase, but if it is not suitable, or you have changed your mind or simply would like to swap for a different product then you may do so as long as this is within 14 days of the dispatch date, the item has not been used, its is in its original packaging and can be re-sold (as new).
Please first contact us via email (using the contact us form) which can be found in the help / contact us section of the website or alternatively call our customer service on 01257 269885. Please have your order number handy so that we can deal with your enquiry as quickly as possible.
Our customer service will establish the reason for your return and then talk you through the returns process, as outlined below:
When returning an item you must ensure that the item has been securely packaged so that no damaged occurs in transit.
Please make sure that you include a copy of your original invoice with the light sets so that a refund can be issued as soon as possible.
If required, Lights 4 You can arrange for the item to be returned via Click and Collect and forward you a postage label. The item can be returned to one of their many drop off points across the UK at your convenience (a full list can be found on their website www.collectplus.co.uk) the cost of this will be deducted from the refund given.
If you are returning via the Royal Mail, Lights 4 You would recommend that you either use a signed for service or obtain proof of postage from the Post Office. Lights 4 You Ltd cannot accept liability for any goods lost in transit and it is the customers responsibility to make a claim with the relevant company should this occur.
Once Lights 4 You Ltd has received the goods we will issue a refund to the card used for the initial payment within 7 working days subject to the above conditions.
I have ordered the wrong item or I have changed my mind!
Lights 4 You understand that sometimes people change their minds or have ordered the wrong item by mistake, we aim to dispatch all orders placed before 1pm on the same day so please call us as soon you can on 01257 269885.
If the order has already been sent out then there is nothing we can do, once you have received your order please see ‘How do I return my light set(s)’ and follow the procedure.
If you order has not yet been sent out then we can cancel the order and issue a full refund to the card used to make the initial payment.
My Lights are damaged or I have received the wrong set?
When goods are dispatched they are checked to ensure that they are in working order but in the event of any damage/fault or you have any problem with your product then please call our customer service on 01257 269885. and we will do our utmost to resolve your issue as soon as possible. If this is not convenient then please use our contact us form, stating your name and order number and we will ensure that you receive an immediate response.
Lights 4 You Refund Policy
At Lights 4 You we are happy to refund any product that does not meet with your high standards. We can only issue a refund to the payment card, which was used for the original purchase.
Conditions of return
When returning an item please ensure that it is in its original packaging, had not been used and is in a saleable condition. Any product which we received damaged will receive a partial refund, unless this has been done in transit.
